- The American Balalaika Symphony is a balalaika orchestra based in the Washington DC area, who play Russian and Eastern European folk and classical music. Currently they have only one accordionist, but they are looking to expand their accordion and bayan section (see the "join" page).

Washington Balalaika Society
includes an orchestra, various folk ensembles,
and "The Spirit of St. Petersburg",
a duo consisting of Svetlana Nikonova on domra and Vladimir Zakharevich on
bayan. The orchestra and the ensembles also include bayans, of course.
